A Day At the Beach

There is just something about going to the beach that makes my heart pump faster.  

Since I started blogging, I have slowly but surely realized 

how absolutely lucky I am to live so close to the beach.  

In fact, it’s something that I’ve taken for granted my entire life.  

Some people have never seen the ocean!  

I mean, that’s just crazy to me!

  When Scott & I first started dating, we were very low on money.

I was in college, & he was already out in the workforce, but had a rent & bills to pay.

We would find cheap (or free) dates to do ALL the time.

One of our favorite dates was going to the beach…

which, may seem pretty normal to most people, except…

we would go to the beach in the WINTER!

Actually-

this is quite sad but,

we never went to the beach over the summer

(except our honeymoon).

That’s just… sad.

But, as soon as the colder weather hit-

we went to the beach!

Weird I know!

My husband & I are really into photography,

so once the beach is a lot less crowded,

you get the BEST pictures.

& the beach is the prettiest in the winter.

I don’t know why.

It just is.

& there is nothing better than cuddling in the cold,

listening to the sound of waves crashing,

and watching the sun set,

at what looks like the ends of the earth.

Sometimes, the world can be so beautiful.
