The Newest Edition to Our Family!

That's right! We bought a car! (cause` that's what you were thinking, right?)  
I kind of feel like more of an adult now that I finally have my OWN name on a car. I thought getting married would do it... you know... make me feel more "adult", but it didn't, really.
You would think that living on my own, being married, & having a rent & bills to pay each month would kind of do it for me.
Anyway, Scott & I are the proud new owners of this cute little Jeep Liberty!

Ain't she purrrty?

We've been looking into getting a new car for a while now, but the timing wasn't right.
Now that the timing is right, it didn't take us too long to fall in love with this car.
It's way smaller than Scott's truck, which we traded in to lower the price, it's WAY better on gas, & it has 4 wheel drive, which is a necessity in New England. Of course, this weekend it's supposed to be 60 degrees outside, but I digress.
I originally thought Scott would take this car since he traded in his truck, but he has decided that he wants me to use it instead.
Now that I'll be nannying, it will be nice to have a bigger car for the two car seats I'll need, & it will be nice to know that I have 4WD in case it decides to snow again. I was quick to say no to this, because I didn't want him to be teased driving around in my Soccer Mom car... but he has insisted and I'm trying really hard not to feel guilty about it.
I just can't believe he is willing to drive around my girly-soccer Mom-ish car. But, this is why I married him.
He's selfless.  He does things that shock the hell out of me.  He cares.  He wants me to feel safe.   And he'll deal with the teasing he'll get from ALL of his friends just so that I am safe.
What a guy. I have a really awesome husband & I don't care if I say it too much.
