I got an email yesterday. A nice one, at that. I know... can you believe it?! Someone sent me a nice email!! Woohoooo!! And it came just in time because yesterday was a crap-tastic day.
Ha, anyway. She did not want to be mentioned, so I won't mention her name. BUT... she said some of the nicest things to me. But one thing she said stuck out more than anything else. She said:
"Please don't ever stop blogging. Even if it's just a short, silly post, I read your blog every morning. It's part of my morning routine much like, drinking coffee and listening to my radio show is. If I don't read your blog, my day just feels.... weird."
Holy glitter balls, Batman! Your day feels weird without reading?! That's insane. Like awesomely insane. Wait. Let's reverse those words. That makes me feel so insanely awesome. There. I like that better.
So you know... that email got me to thinking... heck, that just about made my day and I'd like to make someone else's day. I'd like to make lots of people's days. So, here we go. I'm going to try and do that.
There is so much I can say about Veronica. She was one of the first bloggers I ever exchanged phone numbers with. Even if it was just to talk to her about our Newlywed Game link up... remember that? Fun times! Anyway... she is a blogger from Oklahoma and one incredible interior designer (in my opinion!) She has done so much for me and even designed a "mood board" for my master bedroom. She has really fantastic ideas and I was so happy to use some of them! She has the cutest blog series too where she talks about her & her husband's past and how they met. Some of my favorite posts from her have been from that series she writes! She is just the kindest, most sweetest girl. Love her!
I first met Holly through mine & Veronica's "Newlywed Game" link up. She is also from Oklahoma. Holly & her husband are so adorable together & I often find myself oooing and ahhhing at their wedding photos, which are just as adorbs as they are! Holly always leaves the most thoughtful and heartfelt comments and I have found her to be such a lovable and genuine person. I have enjoyed reading her blog, and am so glad that I "met" her!
Ok... who doesn't love Erin?! Erin was one of the first bloggers that ever reached out to me when I started Forever Newly Wedded. She informed me that I was a lame no-reply blogger back in the day. I can't even believe that was a year ago! I have loooved getting to know Erin and her cute husband, Jared. She has the funniest posts and she is extremely relatable. She always responds to each and every one of my comments and has always bent over backwards to help me out with any blogging questions. She designs blogs too! And... did I mention she does this series on her blog where her & her husband share money saving tips? I love me some Sallie & Perkins. =D
For so long I never figured out the Kayla was in fact, Erin's sister in law! I can't even blame this on my blonde hair because I'm a fake blonde. Oh well! Anyway, I swear Kayla and Erin are two of a kind. They are so scary similar. Kayla is just as light hearted and bubbly as Erin and I love her for it. If you ever need to smile, just head on over to this girl's blog. Her posts are always happy and upbeat. I love her positive energy. Did I mention she is also a very talented photographer? She has the most gorgeous photos up on her blog from time to time. And, she got married not too long ago, so every so often.. she will post a wedding photo.. or 50.. =) And man, I'm not complainin... her wedding photos are stunning!!
Cece found me after having followed me on my old blog many, many years ago. How crazy is that? I was so happy that she had found me! I always love finding new blogs to read... or blogs that I hadn't seen in years! I love so much about Cece's blog. But most of all... I love how real & raw she is. She is an excellent writer, and often very relatable. She tells it how it is! I especially love one of her latest posts. You can read that, here. This girl was born to write. She has me hooked from the first sentence all the way to the last. =)
I can't help but smile every time I am visiting this particular blog. I believe I met Jess through the Newlywed Game link up as well... but, my friendship with her didn't really grow until I opened up about my anxiety issues on my blog back in the winter. Jess and I exchanged emails for a while after I wrote that post. We talked about our experiences with anxiety and Jess gave me so many useful tips and advice. She would also send me links to different scriptures that had helped her. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for her friendship. She recently attended the Influence Conference too! You can read all about her experience, here!
Ohhhh Hallie. How I love thee. Hallie is and always has been one of my daily reads, hands down. Her posts can make me laugh.. they can make me smile... and she can even write posts that make me want to ball my eyes out (in a happy tears kind of way!). She has the biggest heart. The most contagious smile. And the BEST style. Seriously. I wish I had her closet. Or, I wish she didn't live so far away from me so that I could come over and raid her closet whenever I wanted. She is someone whom I would love to meet one day! Her blog is an absolute must read. =D
Kate is a total favorite of mine. She is one of those bloggers who, the more she writes, the more I find out that we are both really similar! She is from CT (woohoo!). I rarely "meet" other bloggers from CT. So she was put on my cool list right off the bat. She's married and is also a fur-mom like me! Their wedding photos are so beautiful. Okay now I sound like a stalker. But really, this lady is worth checking out. =)
Chelsea is the sweetest girl! I started reading her blog a short time ago and now I read it daily! She is married and has a cute dog named, Jenny.. whom she talks about often! When I first started reading her blog, I read her "about" page first. I love reading the "about" pages of blogs. You learn so much! Her husband is in the Navy, (which I know nothing about!) so it is always nice to read about their life. Chelsea is also has an identical twin! See? You really do learn so much through an "about me" page!
I looove this girl. We have a bunch in common (which is always nice!) and her posts usually make me laugh out loud in one way or another. I love when she fits in a gif or two to her posts! She is married and has not one but two dogs! This girl writes about whatever is on her mind and I love it. Ohhh and I might add that she is the owner of Country Couture... my latest boutique obsession. Her clothes & I have made a couple appearances on this here blog! Rachel is the kindest, most down to earth person. Definitely go check her out! =D
Morgan's blog is one of my newer reads. Ohhh man how I love this blog. Not only is Morgan gorgeeeooousss, but she is also pretty funny! I am always smiling after reading one of her posts. She is engaged to be married, and her and her fiance just bought a house! They also have 2 doggies! There are so many exciting things going on in her life with her new house and upcoming wedding! This is a blog that you definitely want to be following! =)
First of all... Kiesha's birthday was yesterday! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! I was not near a computer much at all yesterday, so I'm sorry I didn't say it yesterday! This girl is so sweet. Aren't all bloggers just the nicest people? I would love to meet Kiesha in person some day. She has the cutest little family with her husband and son. Kiesha always has the cutest pictures of her little family up on her blog. =)
Ohhh man the things I could say about this lady! First of all... she leaves the best comments. I swear. They are the most heartfelt, uplifting comments ever. I also met Heather through the Newlywed Game linkup (what a great idea that linkup was, all in favor of bringing that back say "aye!") Anyway, Heather has such a strong faith in God and it definitely shines through her blog posts. Her and her husband, Leon have the sweetest little baby girl who makes frequent appearances to her blog! She is seriously the cutest! It takes all that I have not to get baby fever when I read Heather's blog! =)
Of course, these are only a small fraction of my list of favorite blogs. I actually enjoyed doing this so much that I am going to do it all over again next Friday with even more of my favorites. Have I ever mentioned how much I love the blogging community? Like, seriously! I love you all. Can't wait to share more of my favorites next Friday. Until then, have an excellent weekend!!
If you follow me on Instagram... I'm sure I will be blowing it up with pictures of Vermont! =D
